Preparation and Feeding with AlgaMac-ARA (Arachidonic Acid)

Enrichment:

AlgaMac-ARA requirements will vary by species.  It is suggested that AlgaMac-ARA be used as a portion of the daily enrichments used at a starting level of 10%.  When portions of ARA are computed, mix with either AlgaMac-3000 or Algamac-3050 and blend with seawater for a few minutes (in electric blender), sieve liquid mix through a 50 micron mesh into enrichment tank.
Applying as a component to maturation / spawning diet: Add starting portions of AlgaMac-ARA at a rate of 1% of the diet's total composition. Application rates as a feed ingredient for maturation diets fall in the 1-5% range depending on the results of specie broodstock and egg quality assessment.
